Safe Solvent Location and Central Power Supply
With the LaChrom Elite the solvent bottles are located safely in a leak proof metal tank. Tube ducts integrated in the LaChrom Elite system lead the solvent tubing to the solvent degasser mounted in the pump module. In addition the Organiser contains the central power supply of the system supplying the 24 V power for the pumps, autosampler and detectors. Therefore the high voltage power lines can be reduced to a minimum increasing both the safety and reliability of the system.
Reliable trace level detection with the LaChrom Elite Detectors
The advanced optics and innovative electronics of the LaChrom Elite detector family ensure large linear dynamic ranges and superior signal to noise ratios even with the fastest response times. So lowest trace level detection limits and better quantitative reproducibility is achieved. The programmable L-2400 UV and L-2420 US-Visible detectors combine highest sensitivity with all the functions necessary to perform detection in micro HPLC, conventional HPLC or even up to high-speed chromatography. The L-2450 diode array detector, equipped with at 1024 bit diode array element and both a deuterium and tungsten lamp, provides accurate peak identification and peak purity assessment even at lowest concentration levels. For the data produced by this detector, the EZChrom Elite chromatography data system offers a large variety of 3D chromatogram and spectra processing functions. For fluorescent analytes the programmable L-2480 fluorescence detector offers utmost sensitivity and for analytes lacking chromophores the L-2490 refractive index detector offers excellent performance and stability. Pre-aligned flow cell options, accessed from the front of the instrument, allow the user to easily switch from microbore to conventional or high throughput applications. Automatic wavelength calibration with in-built mercury lamp, maintenance logbooks and documentation within EZChrom Elite make it easy to comply with quality management and FDA regulations.
