Image quality with the s4 transducer has been enhanced with the 4-cycle transmit pulse, which increases the strength of the harmonic signal for improved endocardial border definition. The Ultraband c3540 CLA transducer delivers superb B-mode resolution and tissue texture—as well as enhanced color and Doppler—for abdominal-vascular imaging. Soft Echo enhances low-level ultrasound signals from anatomy and pathology such as plaques, thrombi, clots and vegetation. Dynamic Stress Echo offers enhanced flexibility and customization to meet your research, clinical and patient needs. Philips' Real-time MCE uses the new lower-frequency s3 Ultraband transducer and Power Modulation at low power to detect contrast agents non-destructively. As a result, microcirculation and wall motion can be viewed simultaneously. The extremely wide bandwidth of the s3 transducer enables Ultraharmonic 2-D imaging, a new research breakthrough technique for triggered MCE imaging.
